What You Can Do

At the Day Center:

Office volunteers are essential to Family Promise’s success. There are a number of ways you can assist the continued operation of the office and the help of the families. Families are at the Day Center from approximately 7:30am-5:00pm, 7 days a week.​ 

 

    Opportunities include:

• Tutoring children

• Assisting the families in job research/general mentoring​

• Office assistance

• Van Driver

 

 

With your Congregation:

Family Promise is always looking for faith communities to help care for our guest families.  We are an interfaith organization, and are happy to work with congregations of any denomination or faith tradition.  Congregations can either host families themselves or partner with another host site

    Opportunities include:

• Cooking dinner for the guest families

• Host and share dinner with guests

• Help children with homework, organize games, etc...

• Spend the night with guests
